After
ordering, how long does it take until my website is complete?
We start work on each site
immediately and your site will be complete within approximately 7 days. We
will let you know if this is likely to be any longer due to waiting lists
but generally 10 days is the maximum you will need to wait.
Can I pay a deposit rather
than the whole £150?
Yes you can, we offer you the
choice of paying the whole amount up front or a £50 deposit when ordering
your site. If you choose the deposit we ask that you please pay the
remainder of the balance before we hand the site to you with your admin
instructions which will normally be within 7 days of receipt of your
deposit. How do I
get my site once I have purchased it?
Following your payment you will be
taken to a confirmation page with a form for you to state your domain
choice and any bespoke design preferences you may have, once you have
submitted the form we will contact you within 24 hours to confirm
everything to you and will build your site. If you do not have a domain
(website address eg www.example.com)
then this will need to be purchased on checkout when you buy the site,
hosting similarly should be purchased at checkout please. Upon completion of your site
normally within 7 days we will contact you with your hand-over email. The
handover email is sent when your site is complete and live and includes a
totally personalised PDF with full admin instructions so that you can add
content as you wish.
Can I host
the site elsewhere?
Yes, we however use HostGator who
are a highly respected company with a very low cost for the highest
standard of service. Their service is genuinely outstanding and we have
found their technical support second to none. We strongly
recommend, yet am not affiliated with, them.
Can I transfer a domain name I have previously purchased?
Yes, we will sort all of that out for
you should you wish to do so.
I have a
domain name with a .com suffix, can I have the same domain with another
suffix such as .net?
Yes indeed, so long as the domain
name is available you may have what you like by way of domain. "Branding" your business
name by having the same domain with different suffixes has many benefits
and ensures potential visitors don't end up on a competitors' site by
mistake!
What if I
